Professor Myles-Day earned her BSW from Buffalo State College, graduating Cum Laude; and, earned her MSW from SUNY at Buffalo. She has received the Arthur A. Schomburg Fellowship, the CSWE Minority Fellowship, and remains an active member of the Phi Alpha Social Work Honor Society. Professor Myles-Day is the Executive Director of the Buffalo-Area Engineering Awareness for Minorities Program (BEAM). Clinically, she practices individual and family therapy at Child and Adolescent Treatment Services (CATS), specializing in family focused therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety. Professor Myles-Day has partnered with CATS and SAY Yes Buffalo to implement mental health clinics in Buffalo Public Schools to increase service delivery and continuity of care.
